Study Groups through the SAHRA Chapter of SHRM
Part of SAHRA's mission is to support and promote the increased
professional development of our members. SAHRA does this through
Chapter sponsored study groups. A Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification
distinguishes you among your peers and highlights your commitment to
your career as an HR professional. SAHRA offers 12-14 weeks of
preparation and study sessions for any SAHRA member interested in attaining
their SPHR/PHR certification. The study groups will meet once a week
from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at
various locations.
SHRM® Learning
System
The SHRM® Learning System is the required study tool used
throughout the fourteen weeks and covers the following areas: Risk
Management, Strategic Management, Workforce Planning and Employment,
Human Resource Development, Total Rewards – Compensation and
Benefits, and Employee and Labor Relations.
