Clothing Drive at the May Monthly Meeting
Benefiting Women’s
Empowerment program
Do
you remember that business suit that you have hanging in the back of
your closet? Would you be willing to donate it to someone in need?
SAHRA’s Community Outreach Resource group invites you to join us
again this year in our Professional Attire clothing drive to benefit
women looking to enter or re-enter the professional work force.
Through our donation to the Women’s Empowerment program, you will be
able to assist local women and help this non-profit organization end
homelessness one women at a time.
The suit donation represents just the
first step towards self-sufficiency; and, you have an opportunity to
help these women through your generous donation of gently used
professional attire.
Bring clothing on a hanger to the May 28
SAHRA lunch meeting at the Radisson Hotel.
We are looking for new or nearly new and
cleaned:
-
Coordinated, contemporary, interview

The Sacramento City Unified School
District has been a partner with our School to Career Team. Now, due
to budget cuts, they are in need of our support. The District’s
“Infant & Toddler and Pregnant & Parenting Teen Program” is in need
of the diapers. We will do a one-time only Diaper Drive (disposables)at
our May Lunch Meeting in conjunction with our Professional Clothing
Drive that will support Women’s Empowerment.
Please bring your donations to the
meeting and we will insure that they reach the appropriate
organization.
Thank You!
